First, the quality of this paper is first-rate, as you'd expect from one of the world's largest producers of paper (Georgia-Pacific), but the special price, plus free shipping with no tax, made this order a winner over Depot, Max, and Staples. Second, with Amazon offering free shipping on orders over $25, and the big-boxers not shipping free until $50 is spent, this is an even better deal. Paper is really a commodity in my business, so I really only look at the bottom line. Compared to the local retailers, I figured I saved at least $10 over what I would have spent, even with their coupons.
An added bonus is that the UPS guy who delivers my Amazon packages always comes around the same time in the afternoon, while the Office Max, Depot, and Staples delivery guys are always "hit-and'miss" on delivery times and days. They get the product there, but not always when it's most convenient for me.
I still buy stuff at the big box office supply stores, but only when the price and convenience beat Amazon. Frankly, as Amazon's selection improves, those occasions are becoming fewer and fewer.
